CIRCLEVILLE — The Pickaway County Board of Commissioners has called a special meeting for 9 a.m. Nov. 7 at the commissioners’ office, 139 W. Franklin St., Suite 201, Circleville.
The board will meet solely to enter executive session to consider the employment of a public employee under Ohio Revised Code 121.22(G)(1).

Under Ohio’s Open Meetings Act, executive sessions are closed to the public. No final action can be taken behind closed doors — any formal action must be adopted in open session.
