J News Network (JNN) is an independent digital news outlet covering Chillicothe and southern Ohio — breaking news, crime and courts, local government, traffic and weather, and community stories across Ross, Pickaway, Pike, Scioto, and surrounding counties.
JNN is founded and led by investigative journalist Jason Salley, a Certified Human Rights Consultant whose reporting on true crime, environmental justice, government accountability, and political corruption has been cited by CNN, ABC News, Newsweek, and The New York Times. His years-long investigation of the toxic groundwater plume beneath Chillicothe was featured by NBC4 Investigates, and his environmental reporting has been recognized by Emmy-winning journalist Duane Pohlman.
Salley is a Kentucky Colonel — the highest civilian honor in the Commonwealth of Kentucky — as well as a documentary filmmaker and media producer. He founded Ohio Atomic Press, Ohio’s environmental investigative news platform, and created The Fallout Files, the investigative wing of JNN. His J News Network platforms collectively reach millions of viewers.
