CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio — A Pickaway County school administrator has been recognized as one of Ohio’s top education leaders.
Tim Williams, superintendent of Logan Elm Local Schools, received the Buckeye Association of School Administrators’ Exemplary Leadership Award for District 5 on Tuesday during the association’s annual fall conference in Columbus, according to the district.
The award is presented annually to one administrator from each BASA region. Williams was honored alongside nine other administrators from across Ohio.
Williams is in his 15th year as superintendent of Logan Elm Local Schools. He began his career with the district as a teacher and coach before later serving as a principal and superintendent, the district said.
The recognition comes about two months after Logan Elm High School again earned a place on U.S. News & World Report’s list of the nation’s best high schools.
“It is truly an honor and humbling to receive an award voted on by my peers,” Williams said in a statement. “This recognition is a reflection of the incredible people who make Logan Elm such a special place.”
