Fri. 9:49 a.m. · New Marshfield Road, New Marshfield · Wellbeing check
Deputies were dispatched to New Marshfield Road to check on an individual. While deputies attempted to make contact, dispatch reached the individual by phone, who confirmed they were fine and not home.

Deputies responded to State Route 56 to assist an individual who was locked out of a vehicle. Deputies unlocked the vehicle and returned to patrol.

Deputies were dispatched to assist State Parks officers in locating a possibly intoxicated individual. Deputies were unable to locate the vehicle, which left before they arrived.

Deputies responded to a North Plains Road residence on a report of theft from an elderly person. Deputies helped the individual locate medication and a wallet that had been misplaced.

Deputies responded to the Kroger parking lot in Trimble for a non-injury vehicle accident.

Deputies took a report of a missing person from The Plains. The individual was last seen on U.S. Route 33 walking toward Nelsonville. Family members and the individual’s partner had not seen them since about noon Oct. 2. Deputies issued a BOLO and entered the individual as a missing person. The individual was later located safely in Perry County.

Deputies responded to Chauncey for a report of an inactive assault that occurred in Glouster. The case was listed as pending investigation.

Deputies were dispatched to Hebbardsville Road after a 911 hang-up call. Athens County EMS arrived first and determined the individual had fallen earlier and needed help getting back up. EMS remained to assist and deputies returned to patrol.

One individual wanted to leave the property, and deputies stayed on scene while the individual gathered belongings, then cleared the scene and returned to patrol.
