CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — The Ross County Health District will hold its final free drive-thru rabies vaccination clinic of 2026 on Saturday, Nov. 21, from 2 to 3 p.m. in the health district parking lot across from its office at 150 E. Second St. in Chillicothe, the district announced in a press release.
The clinic is for cats and dogs only. Vaccines are free and will be given on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last, according to the district.
Dogs must be leashed or harnessed, and cats must be secured in a carrier. The district said veterinarians on site may decline to vaccinate a pet over health concerns, and that the health district and the veterinarians are not responsible for pets brought to the clinic.
More information is available from the district’s Environmental Health Division at 740-775-1158 or eh@rosscountyhealth.org, and on the health district’s calendar page.
