GREENFIELD, Ohio — McClain High School has been named a Midwest Division finalist in T-Mobile’s Friday Night 5G Lights competition, leaving the Highland County school one voting round away from a $250,000 division prize and a shot at a $1 million home-field upgrade.
McClain is the only Ohio school among the 40 finalists nationwide. As a division finalist, the school has already secured $25,000 and a T-Mobile-hosted home game.
The winner of each division is decided by public voting, which runs daily through Oct. 25 on T-Mobile’s Friday Night 5G Lights page. The top vote-getter in each division receives $250,000, and one of the four division champions will claim the $1 million grand prize toward a home-field upgrade, to be unveiled in 2027.
