Health district, Equitas to offer free testing, overdose prevention resources Oct. 14

The Ross County Health District and Equitas will host a community resource event from 2 to 7 p.m. Oct. 14 at the Rozelle Creek Marathon Station.

CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — The Ross County Health District and Equitas will host a community resource event from 2 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14, at the Rozelle Creek Marathon Station, 4152 Rozelle Creek Road in Chillicothe, according to a news release from the health district.

Resources at the event will include testing for HIV, hepatitis C and syphilis, the release said. Equitas will provide a privacy tent for testing.

Naloxone and other overdose prevention resources also will be available, according to the release.
