PICKAWAY COUNTY, Ohio — A military UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter is scheduled to land behind the Scioto Township Building around 9 a.m. today for a planned training exercise, the Scioto Township Fire Department said.
The landing is not an emergency, the department said. Members of the township department and other nearby departments will spend the morning training on the aircraft, which is expected to depart around noon.
The department asked the public to keep its distance during the training and to respect barricades in place. Residents who want to see the aircraft may park and walk over but should not enter the training area, the department said.
