CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — A vintage Texaco-style gas pump has been reported stolen from a property along U.S. 50 east of Chillicothe, and the theft was reported to the Ross County Sheriff’s Department.
The property owner said she discovered the red pump missing Sunday afternoon near Queen City Trailer Court. She believes it was taken sometime between late Thursday and Sunday.
Her Ring doorbell camera activated around 12:45 a.m. Friday, but the image was unclear because the pump stood across the road from the house, she said.
She is asking anyone who knows of someone who recently acquired a vintage gas pump to contact her, saying she will pass tips along to the sheriff’s department.
