Board’s Oct. 5 meeting also includes discussions with the Park District, coroner and dog warden
CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — The Ross County Board of Commissioners will meet Monday for a full day of county business, including a budget review and discussions involving economic development and a transportation improvement proposal.
The commissioners’ Oct. 5 meeting is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. at the Ross County Courthouse, 2 N. Paint St. in Chillicothe, according to the board’s published agenda.
A staff meeting is scheduled for 10 a.m., followed by commissioners and county administrator business at 10:30 a.m.
At 11 a.m., commissioners are scheduled to conduct a budget review session and meet with representatives of the Ross County Park District, the Ross County Coroner’s Office and the Dog Warden.
The board is scheduled to recess at 11:30 a.m.
Commissioners will reconvene at 2 p.m. for an economic development work session. The afternoon agenda includes discussion of a transportation improvement proposal and an ACGP update.
The agenda does not provide additional details about the transportation proposal or the ACGP update.
The three-member board consists of Commissioners Jack A. Everson, James E. Lowe and David Glass.
The commissioners’ office noted that presentations to the board must be placed on the meeting agenda in advance.
