ASHVILLE, Ohio — Ashville’s annual leaf pickup will run Oct. 26 through Dec. 11, the village street department announced.
Department trucks will run residential routes picking up leaves left at the curb, the department said in a Facebook post. Residents are asked to keep piles at the edge of the street, at least 10 feet from parked vehicles, and clear of low-hanging branches so collection equipment has room to operate.
Only leaves should go in the piles — sticks, brush, flowers and other yard debris can damage or clog the machinery. The department said collection may be postponed during bad weather, and warned the Dec. 11 end date is firm: after that, leaf disposal is the homeowner’s responsibility.
